Judging

Volunteer Judges Needed

As spring approaches, tri-state students and teachers are working diligently to prepare their projects for the upcoming Tri-State Science and Engineering Fair!  Once again, we have the privilege of inviting you to participate as a volunteer judge on March 10th at the Recreation, Fitness and Wellness Center on the University of Southern Indiana campus.  Your willingness to share your expertise and time with the participating students is critical to the success of this event.  As a judge, you will be instrumental in encouraging young people to pursue their questions and curiosity about the world through science and engineering.

For your convenience, you may submit your registration online by clicking here.  We are seeking judges for the categories of:

  • Animal Sciences
  • Behaviors and Social Sciences
  • Chemistry
  • Earth and Environmental Sciences
  • Energy: Physical and Chemical
  • Engineering
  • Mathematics
  • Medicine and Health Sciences
  • Microbiology and Molecular/Cellular Biology
  • Physics and Astronomy
  • Plant Sciences
  • Robotics, Computers, and Systems Software

We will conclude judge registration on February 12, 2016. We hope you will join us for this year’s fair.

The judging portion of the fair will take place on Thursday, March 10, 2016 between 5:00 and 8:00 p.m.  Prior to the actual judging of science fair projects, a short judge orientation meeting will take place from 4:30-6:00 p.m. where a light dinner will be provided. More information will be sent to you shortly after registering to become a judge.
