Since 1992 Dr. Jean Moore has been involved in all aspects of the USI Teacher Education program. Her present position is that of NCATE manager and instructor. The University of Southern Indiana is an NCATE accredited institution. The Department of Teacher Education works very hard to maintain the high standards needed to meet accreditation.

As instructor, Dr. Moore teaches the Introduction to Education and the Synthesis to Elementary Education classes. She also supervises elementary and secondary student teachers and assists the Director of Field Experiences in early field placements.
