Technology Concentration

The MSE Technology concentration consists of a series of five online technology courses, three directed electives, and the three-course action research component (EDUC 601, 631, and 671 or 674) for a total of 33 hours of graduate coursework.  Students who wish to pursue this concentration should have completed EDUC 214 or its equivalent.

Technology courses are as follows:

EDUC 565—Instructional Technology
EDUC 566—Authoring Educational Multimedia
EDUC 567—The Internet in Education
EDUC 568—Advanced Instructional Technology
EDUC 569—Special Topics in Computer Education

Directed electives must be selected to meet requirements for curriculum theory, human development, and social foundations.
