Before joining the staff of the Department of Teacher Education at USI in 2009, Mrs. Blessing spent over 20 years as a teacher and 16 years as an administrator in the Evansville-Vanderburgh School Corporation. During this time, she also taught as an adjunct instructor at USI and participated in a variety of professional education organizations.

Mrs. Blessing's undergraduate degree in secondary education with a major in English and Master's Degree in secondary education are both from the University of Evansville. She completed post-graduate work at Butler University and Indiana State University and holds a license in secondary school administration and supervision from ISU.

Mrs. Blessing's current teaching assignment is EDUC 448, and she has previously taught EDUC 683.
