Dr. Paul Plath
Instructor in Education
Since joining USI's Dept. of Teacher Education in 2002, Dr. Paul Plath's teaching responsibilities have consisted of the Foundations of Reflective Teaching (EDUC 196) and Multicultural Education (EDUC 302). He also teaches both of the introductory humanities courses (HUM 211 & 212) for the English Dept.
Dr. Plath's research interests are in the area of the history of American higher education with a special interest in the Great Books idea of education.
Dr. Plath has a B.A degree from Indiana University, an M.A degree from Eastern Illinois University, an M.A. degree from the University of Illinois, and a Ph.D from the University of Illinois.
