Community Needs
USI is always looking for ways to identify community needs. For example, we recently surveyed nonprofit organizations and discovered a large demand for technical assistance for nonprofits in a variety of areas, including: computer use, web page design, assessment, evaluation, grant writing, capacity building, and strategic planning.
We also know from studies by the Welborn Foundation that there are serious health needs to be addressed, such as elevated rates of cancer and heart disease.
We are seeking ways to assess priorities on a regular basis. If you have thoughts about how to do this, or a community need you would like to bring to our attention, please let us know by submitting this form (PDF).
