Join SGA
There are plenty of ways to be involved in SGA. Students can serve as an Executive officer, assembly representative, associate justice on the court, or serve on an SGA committee.
Elections are held annually in March and at the end of the elections some offices are still vacant. Applications to be appointed to a vacant office can be picked up in the SGA office. Vacant offices are listed on the Executive officers' and General Assembly officers' pages.
Associate Justices of the court are appointed by the President and confirmed by the General Assembly. To see how many vacant positions there are on the court, see the Judicial officers' page.
SGA has plenty of committees that any USI student may join. To see those committees, visit the SGA Committees page.
Interested students can fill out an application and turn it in to the Dean of Student's office. Applications are available here, can be picked up in the SGA office, orĀ downloaded from the OrgSync page. Please check the member list under the Officers tab for the most current vacancies.
