SGA utilizes a variety of committees to review and handle campus issues. Any USI student is eligible to become a member of the following committees. Contact the committee chairperson if you are interested in joining a committee.
Social and Cultural Issues Committee
Social and cultural issues committee addresses issues around campus by hosting relatable events to bring awareness. If you are interested in being about the this committee, contact Christina Lutes.
External Relations Committee assists the AVP for External Relations in helping members reach out to students as well as create and execute marketing campaigns for SGA.
Bookstore Committee meets with the managers of the Bookstore to discuss student concerns, provide input on bookstore merchandise, and take an active role in the Bookstore's development.
Council of Presidents
The Council of Presidents is a meeting of all USI student organization presidents to discuss issues related to student involvement on campus.
Food Services Committee meets with the managers of food services on campus to voice student concerns and provide feedback to food services.
