SGA utilizes a variety of committees to review and handle campus issues. Any USI student is eligible to become a member of the following committees. Contact the committee chairperson if you are interested in joining a committee.
Social and Cultural Issues Committee
Social and cultural issues committee addresses issues around campus by hosting relatable events to bring awareness. If you are interested in being a part of this committee, contact Christina Lutes.
External Relations Committee assists the AVP for External Relations in maintaining contact with other collegiate student governments as well as staying up-to-date with legislation regarding higher education. If you are interested in being a part of this committee, contact Andrew Ramsey.
Council of Presidents
The Council of Presidents is a meeting of all USI student organization presidents to discuss issues related to student involvement on campus. If you would like more information or would like to assist with these meetings, please contact Ashley Wright.
Food Services Committee meets with the managers of food services on campus to voice student concerns and provide feedback to food services when the need arises. If you have a concern in regards to food services or you are interested in being a part of the committee, contact Christina Lutes.
