Student Government Association

Appeals
The Judicial Branch, called the University Court, consists of the Chief Justice
, who is a member of the SGA Executive Board, and six Associate Justices. All of
the Court positions are appointed by the President of the SGA.
- A student who believes a citation is not justified can appeal to the
University Court. Appeal forms are available in the offices of the SGA,
the Dean of Students, and the USI Parking Department Office and can be turned in
at any of those locations as well.
Appeals forms
are also available as downloadable PDF files.
- The Court will review the appeal, and if it is approved, the charges will be
removed from the students university account. Appellants will be notified via
e-mail of the courts decision.
If you have any questions or concerns or need more information regarding the
appeal process or the Court in general, contact the court via e-mail at
sgacourt@usi.edu.
