Student Travel Grant

The Student Government Association has been allocated a significant amount of money from the USI Foundation per year to be used for student travel. A committee of SGA members has been appointed by the SGA to make recommendations concerning the allocation of these funds.

Based on its impartial judgement, the committee will evaluate each application and determine whether the individual will receive funds. All USI students are eligible to apply, according the “Appropriations Guidelines” below.

Student Travel Grant Application
Return the following to the Dean of Students' Office (UC007):
-COMPLETED APPLICATION PACKET
-BROCHURE OR PUBLICATION for the event you are attending
-COMPLETED TRAVEL AUTHORIZATION FORM available here (fill it out online and then print)

You will receive an e-mail confirming the receipt of your application. Upon action by the SGA General Assembly, a decision letter/e-mail will be sent, explaining whether the travel grant application was approved (and for what amount) or denied.

Application Deadlines for 2006-2007 are:

• December 12
• January 12
• February 9
• March 16
• April 6
