Fisher, Graduate Asst. Coach
Brandon Fisher begins his first season as a graduate assistant coach with the men's basketball program.
Fisher comes to USI after spending the 2007-08 season as the head coach
of the boys' basketball team at Logan County High School in Russellville,
Kentucky. He also served as the strength and conditioning coordinator for
basketball at LCHS.
Fisher began his coaching career at Henderson County High School, serving as
the assistant boys basketball coach from 2001 to 2007. The Colonels were the
regional finalist five times in six years during his tenure at Henderson
County.
Prior to entering the coaching ranks, Fisher played one season at Brescia
University, and he was a four-year varsity player for Henderson County. He was
an honorable mention All-State, All-District, and All-Region performer at
Henderson County and helped the Colonels to a pair of Kentucky State
Tournament Final Four appearances.
Fisher earned a bachelor’s degree in physical education from USI in 2004 and
will be working toward a Master’s of Science degree in education.
