Eagles fall to .500 in the GLVC

The University of Southern Indiana baseball team fell to .500 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference, dropping a doubleheader to the University of Wisconsin-Parkside, 9-1 and 16-3, at the USI Baseball Field Saturday afternoon. USI falls to 15-16 overall, 5-5 GLVC, while UWP goes to 22-8, 7-3 GLVC.
The Screaming Eagles will resume GLVC action at the USI Baseball Field Sunday, April 8, when they host Lewis University for a doubleheader at noon. Lewis, 17-17 overall and 3-6 in the league, dropped a doubleheader to Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, 5-2 and 21-4.
