TRANSFER: Transferred to USI after one season at Arizona Western College
(Yuma, Arizona)...batted .244 with eight RBIs and two doubles in 34 games
for the Matadors...the Matadors were 33-22 overall in 2007.
HIGH SCHOOL: A two-sport athlete at Dekalb High School (Waterloo,
Indiana)...was a four-year starter on the baseball team, batting .404 with
eight home runs as a senior...also earned first team All-Northeast Hoosier
Conference and KPC Media Group All-Area honors in 2005...helped the Barons
to the Class 4A State finals in 2003 in basketball.
