College...pitched in 2004 and 2006 for the IVCC, helping lead the Eagles to
the 2004 district championship...had a 1.93 ERA and seven saves in 14
innings of work in 2004 and a 1.78 ERA in 45 innings in 2006...had a
junior college career total of 50 strikeouts over two seasons.
HIGH SCHOOL: Earned 10 letters in baseball, basketball, and football at
Rock Falls High School (Rock Falls, Illinois)...was a member of the 2002
Rockets baseball team that won the Illinois state championship during the
summer season.
PERSONAL: Born February 22, 1984...son of Kelly and Dee Meier.
