Started 65 of USI's 66 games at shortstop during his first season with the
team...batted .248 with 28 runs scored, 18 RBIs, six doubles, and one stolen
base...recorded his first hit for the Eagles against Henderson State
University...had a season-best three hits against Angelo State University
in the NCAA Division II Championship series...had 13 multiple hit
games...drove in a season-high two RBIs three times...set the USI
single-season record with 202 assists.
TRANSFER: Transferred to the USI program after a year with Iowa Western Community College (Council Bluffs, Iowa)...batted .275 with 11 RBIs and 12 runs scored in helping IWCC to the regular season Iowa Community College Athletic Conference championship and the Region XI title...IWCC finished 2006 ranked as high as third nationally...also redshirted one season at Scottsdale Community College (Scottsdale, Arizona) in 2005.
