home run...hit his first collegiate home run on the road against Oakland City

City.
2005: Played in 40 games, started 33, as a freshman...recorded a .241 batting average with 15 runs scored and nine RBIs...posted a season-best two hits six times as a freshman...also had a season-high two RBIs against Northern Kentucky University.
HIGH SCHOOL: Earned letters in baseball and football at West Lafayette High School (West Lafayette, Indiana)...played all three of the four infield positions at WLHS...was a three-time All-Conference and All-Area in baseball after hitting over .400 as a junior and senior at WLHS.
