TRANSFER: Transferred to USI after two seasons at the College of Lake County (Grayslake, Illinois)...posted a 4.89 ERA with 32 strikeouts and six saves in 18 games and 46 innings of work as a freshman in 2004 and a 4.89 ERA with 37 strikeouts in 32 games and 53.1 innings pitched as a sophomore in 2005.

HIGH SCHOOL: Played four years at Mundelein High School...was All-Lake County, Pioneer Press All-Area, All-Conference, and All-Lake Shore after recording a .425 batting average and a 1.33 ERA.

PERSONAL: Born April 1, 1985...son of Benjamin and Michele Yoder.
