USI baseball series at Carson-Newman cancelled due to weather
The University of Southern Indiana baseball team will once again have to wait to open the 2003 season after the three-game series with Carson-Newman College, scheduled for this weekend in Jefferson City, Tennessee, has been cancelled due to rain. The Screaming Eagles now look to Wednesday, February 19, at Murray State University to open the season Game time Wednesday is scheduled for 2 p.m.
The Eagles’ home opener will be Thursday, February 20, when Oakland City University visits USI for a 1 p.m. contest.
