Screaming Eagles migrate south in attempt to play
The University of Southern Indiana baseball team will travel south to Montgomery, Alabama, to try and resume the 2003 season. The Screaming Eagles (0-1) have tentatively scheduled four games on the trip.
At Faulkner University, USI will play a doubleheader with Mt. Mercy College of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Saturday, March 1, at 5 p.m. On Sunday, March 2, the Eagles will play single games with Mt. Mercy at 11 a.m. and Faulkner at 1:30 p.m.
In addition, USI has tentatively rescheduled the home games with Indiana University Southeast Monday, March 3, and Oakland City University, Tuesday, March 4. Both games are scheduled for 2 p.m.
