USI baseball home-opener delayed again
For the fifth time this season, the University of Southern Indiana baseball team’s 2003 home-opener has been postponed. The Screaming Eagles had rescheduled their game with Indiana University-Southeast for this afternoon, but poor field conditions due to the last few weeks’ stormy weather has forced USI to once again postpone its game.
USI (2-2 on the season) will, hopefully, open its home schedule Tuesday against Oakland City University. First pitch is slated for 2 p.m. The Eagles were originally scheduled to play OCU last Tuesday.
