Mother Nature forces Eagles to postpone games
Rain has forced the University of Southern Indiana baseball team to postpone its Great Lakes Valley Conference opener with Bellarmine University to Thursday, March 20. The Screaming Eagles were originally slated to play Bellarmine this afternoon in Louisville, Kentucky. First pitch for tomorrow’s game is slated for 1 p.m. (CT) in Louisville.
The postponement of today’s game means the Eagles’ contest tomorrow with Oakland City University will be moved to Thursday, April 24. First-pitch for the make-up game is slated for 3 p.m. (CT) in Oakland City, Indiana.
Senior lefthander Brian Anderson (Brazil, Indiana) is slated to take the mound Thursday against the Knights. Anderson enters the game with a 3-1 record, a 3.12 ERA, and two complete games.
