7th Annual Instructional and Developmental League
USI baseball to host 7th annual instructional and developmental league
The University of Southern Indiana baseball program will host the seventh annual Fall Baseball Instructional and Developmental League, each Sunday between September 7 and October 5.
The instructional and developmental league is for high school age players and is hosted by the USI baseball team and coaching staff. The league encourages participation at the time of the year when most players have put their bats and gloves away for the winter and provides an opportunity to showcase a players' skills.
The rosters are limited and no more than eight teams will be formed this fall, so register early. For transportation conveniences, players from respective high schools will be kept together on a team, especially where considerable travel is involved. Each player will be required to bring his own spikes, baseball pants, mitt, bat, and hat. Helmets will be provided.
Back this fall will be a Players Showcase on Saturday and Sunday, October 18-19 with other fall league programs from Indiana, Illinois, and Kentucky.
