USI baseball to start season on March 1

EVANSVILLE, Ind. The Univesity of Southern Indiana baseball team will start the 2005 season on the road March 1 at Brescia University. The first home game is scheduled for March 2 when the Screaming Eagles host Indiana University Southeast at the USI Baseball Field.
After opening the season in the midwest, the Eagles fly south to play the State University of West Georgia, Augusta State University, and Anderson University on the spring trip March 5-10.
USI will conclude its southern trip with a three-game series at Lincoln Memorial University March 11-12 and return to Evansville to play at the Univesity of Evansville March 15. The Eagles open the GLVC schedule on the road at Kentucky Wesleyan College on March 23.
The GLVC Tournament is scheduled for May 12-15 at T.R. Hughes Park in O'Fallon, Missouri.
