USI baseball has opening series washed out
EVANSVILLE, Ind. The University of Southern Indiana-University of West Georgia baseball doubleheader scheduled for Sunday was cancelled due to field conditions. The three-game series will not be rescheduled.
The Screaming Eagles will open the 2006 home schedule Wednesday when they host Oakland City University at the USI Baseball Field. The first pitch is scheduled for 1 p.m.
