Vetter named GLVC Baseball Pitcher of the Week

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - University of Southern Indiana junior right-hander
Adam Vetter (Crown Point, Indiana) is the GLVC Baseball Pitcher of the Week after throwing a no-hitter in a 2-1 win over Southern Illinois University Edwardsville.
Vetter threw the first Eagles no-hitter since 2003 against SIUE on Sunday and did it by going an extra inning. He allowed just six runners to reach base during the game (three walks and three hit batters). The victory also was Vetter's fourth of the year, making him the team leader in wins.
USI plays a doubleheader at Bellarmine University Wednesday at Noon (CDT).
