Slade was tabbed to the first team after leading the Screaming Eagles and the GLVC with a career-high 58 RBIs in 2007. Slade, who earned first-team All-GLVC and Academic All-District V honors, is second on the team in batting average (.340) and needs just six RBIs to match the single-season mark of 64, which was set by Jason Krack in 1994.

Mastroianni, the GLVC Player of the Year as well as a first-team All-League and Academic All-District V selection in 2007, was named to the second team after racking up a team-best .393 batting average to go along with a league-best 56 runs scored and a school-record 52 stolen bases. He is second on the team and fourth in the GLVC with 41 RBIs and is third in the conference with a .519 slugging percentage. His 81 hits also lead the league and are a new USI single-season record.
