Mother Nature wins another round
USI-MWSU series canceled
EVANSVILLE, Ind. Mother Nature won another round as Sunday's snowfall and unimproved field conditions forced the cancellation of Monday and Tuesday's three game series between the University of Southern Indiana and Missouri Western State University. The three games will not be rescheduled.
The next chance of the Screaming Eagles (2-4) to open the 2008 home schedule will be Wednesday when Oakland City University (0-0) travels to the USI Baseball Field for a 1 p.m. first pitch.
