USI-Wayne State series pushed back one day
EVANSVILLE, Ind.—The threat of inclement weather and poor field conditions has moved the upcoming University of Southern Indiana-Wayne State University baseball series back one day. The three-game series was originally slated to be played on Saturday and Sunday, but with snow in the forecast for Friday and cold temperatures being predicted for Saturday, the series has been rescheduled for Sunday and Monday.
First pitch for Sunday's doubleheader is slated for noon at the USI Baseball Field, while Monday's series finale also is slated for a noon start.
The Screaming Eagles are 4-6 after their victory over Oakland City University on Wednesday. The Warriors enter the series with a 1-1 mark after being idol for the last two weeks.
