USI baseball goes on the road for four
Eagles and Hawks tangle in conference action
EVANSVILLE, Ind. – The University of Southern Indiana baseball team begins a four-game road swing Sunday when it travels to Rockhurst University in Kansas City, Missouri. Start time for the Sunday and Monday GLVC doubleheaders is noon each day.
The Screaming Eagles (23-11, 13-2 GLVC) resumes action for the first time on Sunday since defeating Bellarmine University, 11-6, at the USI Baseball Field. USI are on a five-game winning streak and have won six of the last eight.
The Hawks of Rockhurst (13-20, 6-10 GLVC) are looking to get back on track after losing three of their last four games. They trail the Eagles by 7.5 games in the GLVC West Division.
Rockhurst leads the all-time series with USI, 6-2, after two of three last season in Kansas City.
