USI-Rockhurst series postponed
EVANSVILLE, Ind. -- The four-game GLVC baseball series between the University of Southern Indiana and Rockhurst University has been moved from Friday and Saturday to Saturday and Sunday at the USI Baseball Field. The games are being moved due to the forecast of heavy thunderstorms on Friday.
The first pitch Saturday is scheduled for a 1 p.m. start, while Sunday doubleheader will start at noon.
The 22nd-ranked Screaming Eagles are 26-8 overall, 6-2 in the GLVC West Division, and has won their last eight games. The Hawks come to Evansville with a 25-11 overall record and a GLVC West-leading 9-3 mark.
USI trails the all-time series with Rockhurst, 7-5, but took three of four from the Hawks in Kansas City, Missouri, last spring.
