Chris Marx,
Graduate Assistant Baseball
Coach
Chris Marx is in his second season with Head Coach Tracy Archuleta and the USI baseball program. He will work with the outfielders and hitters, while assisting in recruiting.
Prior to joining the USI staff, Marx began his coaching career as the head coach of the Indiana Yankees, a U17 select travel team and as an assistant coach for the Dubois County Bombers of the Central Illinois Collegiate League. The Bombers won the CICL league and tournament championships in 2007.
The Evansville, Indiana, native and graduate of Mater Dei High School also has been an instructor at the University of Notre Dame Baseball Camp and at the Tim Marx's Baseball School.
As a collegiate player, Marx played for Olney Central Community College and Ouachita Baptist University. He helped Ouachita Baptist to 50 wins and a number one national ranking in 2007.
Marx graduated from USI in 2008 with a degree in health services.
