Dustin Murray, Graduate Assistant Baseball Coach

Dustin Murray enters his third season with the Eagles, specializing in working with the hitters and the catchers. During his first season, the Eagles improved their batting average 42 points in 2007.

Murray came to USI after spending the 2006 season as a student assistant on Tracy Archuleta's staff at UW-Parkside. He played three seasons for UW-Parkside after transferring from Lethbridge Community College, where he led his team to the 2002 Canadian championship.

The native of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, played in 92 games for UW-Parkside during his three seasons. He batted .281 with 14 RBIs and 14 runs scored as a senior in 2005, helping lead the Rangers to the GLVC championship and the NCAA Division II North Central Regional finals.

Murray graduated from UW-Parkside last May with a bachelor's degree in Sports and Fitness Management.
