USI men's basketball game set for November 10
Screaming Eagles to host Moose Tours Stars

Exhibition Game Notes

EVANSVILLE, Ind. The preseason No.10 University of Southern Indiana men's basketball team hosts Moose Tours Stars Saturday in an exhibition game at 7:30 p.m. USI season ticket holders are admitted free, while price for non-season ticket holders is $5. All seating is general admission.

The Screaming Eagles are playing their first home exhibition game since 2003 and are 14-10 in exhibition contests since 1990. USI opens the regular season on November 17 against Harris-Stowe State University.

The USI squad, which won two of the last three GLVC Tournament championships and has captured three straight GLVC regular season titles, is led into 2007-08 campaign by a pair of preseason honorable mention All-Americans senior guard Tyson Schnitker (Robinson, Illinois) and senior forward/center Norman Plummer (Cincinnati, Ohio). Schnitker is a graduate student who transferred from Indiana State University, while Plummer transferred to USI from the University of Dayton.

The Moose Touring Stars are scheduled to feature former Ohio State Buckeyes Tony Stockman and Matt Marinchick and Loyola Rambler DaJuan Gouard.
