Eagles host Hornets on Tuesday
USI and Harris-Stowe State tip off at 7:30 p.m.

EVANSVILLE, Ind. – The University of Southern Indiana men's basketball team will host Harris-Stowe State University for the third straight year Tuesday evening at the Physical Activities Center. Tip-off is 7:30 p.m.
USI (2-2) is in the midst of a six-game homestand after opening a 19-game home schedule with a 93-54 victory over Urbana University Saturday evening at the PAC. The Screaming Eagles were led in the win by senior forward Anthony Pimble (Bronx, New York), who had 16 points.
Pimble, the preseason All-American, leads the Eagles with 12.3 points per game through the first four contests. Junior forward Brandon Russ (Cincinnati, Ohio), who had 12 points in the victory over Urbana, is second on the team with 10.3 points per contest.
The HSSU Hornets (0-3) come to the PAC in search of their first victory of the year. HSSU lost its season and home opener to William Jewell College, 76-61, and followed with losses to Missouri Valley College, 85-59, and Lincoln University (Missouri), 93-69.
The Hornets are led by senior guard Brandon Davis, who is posting 13.5 points per game, and freshman guard Chad Haley, who is dropping in 13.0 points per contest.
USI leads the all-time series with HSSU, 2-0, after posting a 117-78 win in 2006-07 and an 87-62 victory last year.
