A modern 300-acre campus with room for growth, USI is located in southwestern Indiana on Highway 62 west of Evansville, a metropolitan area with a population of 293,000. Evansville is Indiana's third largest city featuring the core of cultural, economic, financial, medical, and recreational life in southwestern Indiana. Evansville is less than 200 miles away from four major U.S. cities (176 miles southwest of Indianapolis, Indiana; 156 miles north of Nashville, Tennessee; 126 miles west of Louisville, Kentucky; and 174 miles east of St. Louis, Missouri. It is located near to both the Illinois and Kentucky state lines.
From East Evansville, East Highway 62 (Lloyd Expressway), From West Side
Hotels (Fairfield Inn or Baymont Inn and Suites)
*Go west on 62 (Lloyd Expressway) towards USI campus
*Turn left at Schutte Road (stop light)
*Take Schutte Road all the way down until you come to a fork in the road.
(You will have
to turn at this point.) It is approximately 1-1.5 miles
*Turn Right (West) onto Broadway Avenue.
*Go about half a mile and you will see a parking lot and the cross country
course on
your right.
*This is the USI Intramural/Cross Country Course.
From USI Campus
*Go east on 62 (Lloyd Expressway) towards Evansville and away from USI
campus
*Turn right at Schutte Road (stop light)
*Take Schutte Road all the way down until you come to a fork in the road.
(You will have
to turn at this point.) It is approximately 1-1.5 miles
*Turn Right (West) onto Broadway Avenue.
*Go about half a mile and you will see a parking lot and cross country
course on your
right.
*This is the USI Intramural/Cross Country Course.
