USI men’s track and field grabs three first-place finishes
Results
The University of Southern Indiana men’s track and field team opened its 2004 indoor season with a seventh-place finish. The Screaming Eagles were aided by three individual championship performances.
Sophomore Jesse Davis (Bloomington, Indiana) finished first in the 800 meters and fellow classmate Jake England (Valparaiso, Indiana) finished first in the 1,000 meters. Junior Doug Schwartz (Centralia, Illinois) finished first in the 3,000 meters.
The Eagles will be in Green Castle, Indiana, next Saturday, February 7, to compete in the Tiger Invitational.
