Schneider posts provisional qualifier in 10,000 meters

HILLSDALE, Mich.—University of Southern Indiana women’s track and field junior Casey Schneider (New Salisbury, Indiana) recorded an NCAA II provisional qualifying time in the 10,000 meters this weekend at the Hillsdale Gina Relays. Schneider finished sixth in the event with a season-best time of 37:30.66.
USI men’s junior Jesse Davis (Bloomington, Indiana) finished 16th in the 3,000-meter steeplechase with a time of 9:30.90 and junior David Tyler (Evansville, Indiana) finished 51st in the 10,000 meters with a time of 33:27.20.
The Screaming Eagles are scheduled to run a full squad at the Butler Twilight Saturday, May 1, in Indianapolis, Indiana.
