Eagles post eight top-10 finishes at SEMOtion Relays

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo.— The University of Southern Indiana men's track and field team posted eight top-10 finishes at the SEMOtion Relays Saturday.

David Goodman (Valparaiso, Indiana) led the Screaming Eagles with a second-place showing in the 3,000-meter steeplechase, while sophomore
Brandon Campbell (Portage, Indiana) and senior
Jeremy Kemper (West Terre Haute, Indiana) were both third in the steeplechase and 5,000 meters, respectively.
In all, the Eagles had five runners record top-five finishes, including senior
Tristan Mannix (Crothersville, Indiana) and sophomore
Andrew Menner's (Greenwood, Indiana) fourth and fifth-place finishes in the 1,500 meters.
USI is scheduled to send a few runners to the Chico Distance Carnival April 11-12 in Chico, California, while the rest of the Eagles are slated to compete at the Little State Championships April 11-12 in Indianapolis, Indiana.
