HILLSDALE, Mich.—The University of Southern Indiana men's track and field team posted a pair of NCAA II provisional qualifying times in the 3,000-meter steeplechase this weekend at the 42nd annual Hillsdale "Gina" Relays.

David Goodman (Valparaiso, Indiana) was 13th in the steeplechase with a provisional time of nine minutes, 22.91 seconds, while senior
Rob Roads (Terre Haute, Indiana) was 15th in the steeplechase with a time of nine minutes, 24.96 seconds.
Sophomore
Brandon Campbell (Portage, Indiana) narrowly missed a provisional time as he was 19th in the steeplechase with a time of nine minutes, 28.80 seconds.
The Screaming Eagles' top finish from the weekend came at the Southern Illinois University Edwardsville Twilight Open Saturday night as the relay team of junior
Austin Inge (Ossian, Indiana) and freshmen
Josh VanZant (Mt. Vernon, Indiana),
Steve Hartman (Ft. Wayne, Indiana), and
Russell Farris (Elizabeth, Indiana) finished seventh in the 4x100 meters with a time of 44.00 seconds.
USI returns to action Friday and Saturday when it competes at the GLVC Championships in Edwardsville, Illinois.
