CROSS COUNTRY: Was one of USI's top seven runners in five meets and one of USI's top five runners in two meets...finished 22nd at the GLVC Championships with an 8k time of 26:15.20...was 52nd at the NCAA II Great Lakes Region Championships with a 10k time of 33:23.33...finished 100th at the NCAA II Championships with a season-best 10k time of 32:56.50...had a top 8k time of 26:09.52 at the Greater Louisville Classic and a top finish of 14th at the Millikin Fast Times Challenge. INDOOR TRACK: Competed in the 3,000 and 5,000 meters...posted a top 3,000-meter time of 9:15.44 at the DePauw Invitational and a top 5,000-meter time of 16:23.85 at the DePauw Classic. OUTDOOR TRACK: Did not compete.

HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated from Pike Central High School in Petersburg, Indiana, where he earned nine varsity letters in cross country, track, and swimming...set school records in the 5k as a freshman and senior...also set a school-record in the 3,200 meters...was a two-time All-Conference performer in both cross country and track...won the sectional championship in the 3,200 meters as a sophomore in 2005...finished 22nd in the 3,200 meters at the IHSAA Championships as a senior in 2007...also was a semi-state qualifier in cross country during his senior season in 2006...has personal-bests of 27:22 in the 8k; 16:20 in the 5k; 9:39 in the 3,200 meters; 4:34 in the 1,600 meters; and 2:04 in the 800 meters.
