INDOOR TRACK & FIELD: Had an injury limit him to just one meet for
the second straight season...ran the 200 meters in 24.74 seconds at the Eastern
Illinois Invitational...also helped USI's 4x400-meter relay team to a
16th-place finish at the Eastern Illinois Invitational. OUTDOOR TRACK &
FIELD: Ran USI's fastest 200-meter time of the season when he finished
15th at the GLVC Championships with a time of 22.53 seconds...ran the 400
meters in a season-best time of 53.20 seconds at the Eastern Kentucky Open...helped USI's
4x100-meter relay team to a fifth-place finish and season-best time of
43.84 seconds at the GLVC Championships...also helped USI's 4x400-meter relay team
to a seventh-place finish and season-best time of 3:30.19 at the GLVC
Championships...earned Academic All-GLVC honors for the second time in three
years.
2007
INDOOR TRACK & FIELD: Had an injury limit him to just one
meet...finished 16th in the 60 meters at the Indiana Open II with a time of
7.41 seconds...also helped USI's distance medley relay team to a fifth-place
finish at the Indiana Open II with a time of 10:49.56. OUTDOOR TRACK &
FIELD: Competed in the 100 and 200 meters and was a key member on USI's
4x400-meter relay team...ran the 100 meters in 11.92 seconds at the Little
State Championships...was 17th in the 200 meters at the GLVC Championships
with a season-best time of 23:02 seconds...helped USI's 4x400-meter relay
team to a fifth-place finish at the GLVC Championships with a time of
3:24.23.
2006
INDOOR TRACK & FIELD: Was USI's top sprinter, posting top times and
freshman records in the 55 meters, 60 meters, 200 meters, and 400 meters...was
fifth at the GLVC Championships in the 200 meters with a school-record time of
22.70 seconds...ran the 400 meters in 52.31 seconds at the Hoosier
Relays...finished fifth at the Wabash Invitational in the 55 meters with a
season-best time of 6.79 seconds...posted a season-best time of 7.34 seconds
in the 60 meters at the Hoosier Hills Invitational...also competed on USI's
4x200-meter relay, 4x400-meter relay, and distance medley relay...helped USI
to a third-place finish in the 4x200-meter relay at the GLVC Championships and
to a fifth-place finish in the 4x400-meter relay at the league meet.
OUTDOOR TRACK & FIELD: USI's top 100 and 200 meter performer, posting a
top time of 11:24 seconds in the 100 meters and a top time of 22.19 seconds in
the 200 meters...set a freshman record in the 200 meters...finished 15th at
the GLVC Championships in the 100 meters and 11th at the league meet in the
200 meters...helped USI's 4x100-meter relay team to a fifth-place finish at
the conference championships...also helped USI's 4x400-meter relay team to a
fifth-place finish and a school-record time of 3:21.68 at the GLVC
Championships...earned Academic All-GLVC honors.
HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated from Concordia Lutheran High School in Fort Wayne, Indiana, where he earned seven varsity letters in football, basketball, and track...was the co-Rookie of the Year in 2002 and the Most Valuable Sprinter in 2005...was the High-Point winner at the 2003 Fresh/Soph Relays...had personal-bests of 11.10 seconds in the 100 meters, 22.49 seconds in the 200 meters, and 50.44 seconds in the 400 meters.
