2006-07
CROSS COUNTRY: Ran top four for the Eagles in five meets, including
top three in four meets and top two in a pair of meets...was 59th at the
GLVC Championships with an 8k time of 28:07.18...was USI's fourth finisher
at the NCAA II Championships when he placed 123rd with a season-best 10k
time of 32:16.10...ran the 8k in a season-best time of 25:51.23 at the
Greater Louisville XC Classic...was 12th in the Little State competition and
29th overall at the Indiana Intercollegiate...recorded a season-best finish
of sixth at the USI Alumni Opener. INDOOR TRACK: Did not compete. OUTDOOR TRACK: Did
not compete.
2005-06
CROSS COUNTRY: Finished 21st at the GLVC Championships with an 8k
time of 25:45.14...finished second in the open competition of the Indiana
Intercollegiate with an 8k time of 26:38.00. INDOOR TRACK: Competed in
the mile and the 3,000 meters as well as on USI's distance medley relay
team...ran the mile in 4:34.69 at the Wabash Invitational...finished fifth in
the 3,000 meters at the McDonald's Invitational with a season-best time of
8:54.57...helped USI's DMR squad to a second-place finish at the DePauw
Invitational with a season-best time of 10:43.40. OUTDOOR TRACK: Did
not compete.
HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated from West Lafayette High School where he earned 10 varsity letters in cross country, soccer, and track...earned All-State honors in cross country as a senior this past fall and was a four-time All-Conference performer in the same sport...he qualified for state three times...was a three-time All-Conference honoree entering his senior season in track and has run the 3,200 meters in a personal-best nine minutes, 28 seconds...also earned All-Area and All-Conference honors on the soccer field...his efforts have led WLHS’s cross country team to four conference titles as well as a sectional and semi-state championship in 2003...also helped lead WLHS’s soccer team to a sectional and regional championship in 2003 and its track and field team to three conference titles...a sectional and regional champion in cross country, set a school-record in the 5k, running the course in 15 minutes, 41 seconds.
