INDOOR TRACK: Finished in a tie for 17th in the shot put at the GLVC
Championships...recorded a top mark of 35 feet, 6.75 inches in the shot put at
the DePauw Invitational. OUTDOOR
TRACK: Was 14th in the discus at the GLVC Championships with a season-best
mark of 110 feet, 9.00 inches...had a top javelin mark of 139 feet, 2.00
inches at the Pacesetter Invitational...also recorded a season-best mark of 30
feet, 5.00 inches in the shot put at the Little State Championships.
HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated from Andrean High School in Merrillville, Indiana, where he earned four varsity letters in football, wrestling, and track and field...member of AHS's sectional championship football team in 2002, 2003, and 2004...AHS's football team was the regional and semi-state champion as well as the state runner-up in 2002 and 2003...has personal bests in the discus of 137 feet, six inches, and in the shot put of 45 feet, nine inches.
