CROSS COUNTRY: Competed in all of USI's seven meets and was in
USI's top four in five of those meets...ran top five four USI in six meets
and top seven in all seven meets...finished 19th at the GLVC Championships
with an 8k time of 26:36.97...posted a season-best 8k time of 26:06.48 at
the Greater Louisville XC Classic...was 50th at the NCAA II Great Lakes
Region Championships with a 10k time of 33:58.70...posted a season-best 10k
time of 33:22.80 at the NCAA II National Championships. INDOOR TRACK:
Finished fourth in the mile at the GLVC Championships with a season-best
time of 4:21.73...was 14th in the 3,000 meters at the GLVC
Championships...had a season-best 3,000-meter time of 8:43.23 at the Saluki
Booster Invitational...posted his fastest 5,000-meter time (15:12.20) at the
Hoosier Relays and his top 800-meter time (2:01.67) at the Gladstein
Invitational...also competed on USI's distance medley relay team that
finished 15th at the Iowa State Classic with a time of 10:14.33. OUTDOOR TRACK:
Was sixth in the 1,500 meters and 20th in the 3,000-meter steeplechase at
the GLVC Championships...ran the 1,500 meters in a season-best 3:59.75 at
the Dr. Keeler Invitational and the steeplechase in 11:13.86 at the GLVC
Championships...ran the 5,000 meters in 14:59.56 at the Washington
Invitational and the 800 meters in 2:02.78 at the Dr. Keeler Invitational.
2005-06
CROSS COUNTRY: Red-shirted in 2005. INDOOR TRACK: Competed in
the 800 meters, the mile, and the 3,000 meters in addition to USI's distance
medley relay...finished fifth at the GLVC Championships in the mile with a
time of 4:26.20...ran the mile in a season-best time of 4:23.69 at the Hoosier
Hills Invitational...placed ninth at the GLVC Championships in the 3,000
meters with a time of 9:01.68...posted a season-best time of 8:58.04 in the
3,000 meters at the DePauw Invitational...ran the 800 meters in 2:09.52 at the
McDonald's Invitational...helped USI's DMR squad to a second-place finish at
the DePauw Invitational with a season-best time of 10:43.40. OUTDOOR TRACK:
Ran the 800 meters in 2:03.02 at the Pacesetter Invitational...finished sixth
in the 1,500 meters at the Little State Championships with a season-best time
of 4:03.05...posted a season-best time of 15:40.83 in the 5,000 meter at the
Washington Invitational...also competed one time on USI's 4x400-meter relay
team, helping the squad to a 12th place finish at the Pacesetter Invitational
with a time of 3:48.80...earned Academic All-GLVC honors.
TRANSFER: Transferred from Indiana University-Southeast where he earned two varsity letters in cross country. HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated from Graceland Christian High School in New Albany, Indiana, where he earned eight varsity letters in cross country and track...was the cross country team's most valuable runner as a freshman, junior, and senior as well as the track team's most valuable runner as a junior and senior...set three school records in track.
