MIKE HEIDER
Senior...Anderson, Indiana
Major: Marketing

2003-04: Did not participate in a tournament as a junior. 2002-03: Averaged 84.7 as a sophomore over seven rounds and four tournaments...tied a career-best with a 77 at the USI Invitational. 2001-02: Posted a season-best 77 at the USI Fall Invitational as a freshman...averaged 81.0 in two tournaments. HIGH SCHOOL: 2001 graduate of Anderson High School in Anderson, Indiana, where he participated in golf and basketball….was the AHS Most Valuable Player and won the George T. Hitz Golf Award, the Indian Head Academic Award, and the Matthew Sromek Memorial Award in 2001...also was named All-County and Academic All-Conference as a junior and senior…won the three tournaments in the Pepsi Indiana Golf Association Tour and the Madison County Golf Association Tour.

ADAM BOLERJACK
Sophomore...Carmi, Illinois
Major: Undecided

2003-04: Played in nine tournaments during his first year with the Eagles...posted an 81.3 strokes per round average over 12.5 rounds...had an 18-hole  season-best of 75 at the Great Lakes Regional Tournament and a 36-hole season-best 157 (80-77) at the GLVC Tournament. TRANSFER: Transfers to USI from Rollins College in Florida...redshirted in 2002-03...President's List last fall at Rollins. HIGH SCHOOL: A four-sport letterwinner at Carmi-White County High School in golf, basketball, track, and wrestling...was the Most Valuable Player as a senior, leading the team to a third place finish in the Illinois State Tournament in 2001...helped CWHS to make an appearance in the Illinois State Tournament during Bolerjack’s sophomore season. JUNIOR GOLF: Won the Triple Crown of Junior Golf with a three-day score of six-under and the Ram Jam in 2002...was one of the top 30 junior golfers at the 2000 Nationals in Orlando, Florida.

CHRISTIAN FARLEY
Junior...Henderson, Kentucky
Major: Accounting

2003-04: Played in 10 tournaments during his first year on the Eagles squad...ranked fourth on the team with a 79.4 strokes per round average over 15.5 rounds...led the team with an average 77.7 strokes per round during the fall...recorded an 18-hole season best 74 on three different occasions and a 36-hole season-best 152 (74-78) at the Northern Kentucky University Invitational...led all USI golfers in three of four tournaments during the fall. AT USI: Attended USI last year, but did not play on golf team. HIGH SCHOOL: Lettered in golf at Henderson County High School in Henderson, Kentucky...won the Gold Award and was the number one golfer as a senior HCHS...member of the 1998 HCHS regional championship team in 1998.

2003-04:  Played in one tournament as a freshman, shooting a 163 (82-81) at the Bay Valley Invitational. HIGH SCHOOL: Lettered in golf at Lewis Cass High School in Walton, Indiana...named the team Most Valuable Player in 2001, 2002, and 2003...was the sectional and MIC medalist while at LCHS.

2003-04: Led the Screaming Eagles with a 79.0 strokes per round average over eight tournaments...ranked second in the fall with 78.5 and the spring with a 79.1...recorded an 18-hole season-best 73  and a 36-hole season best 157 (73-84) at the Bay Valley Invitational...led USI individually in two tournaments during the spring. AT USI:  Has attended USI for two years but did not participate in athletics. HIGH SCHOOL: Earned four letters in golf at Southridge High School in Huntingburg, Indiana...was named All-Conference twice and was the 2000 conference medalist...helped lead SHS to three sectional titles, four conference championships, and to the state finals in 2001.

2003-04: Played in one tournament as a freshman, shooing an 86 at the Wisconsin-Parkside Invitational. HIGH SCHOOL: Collected seven letters in basketball and golf at South Vigo High School in Terre Haute, Indiana...named MIC All-Conference in 2001 and 2003 and was the country medalist in 2003...helped lead SVHS to the MIC and regional championships in 2003. JUNIOR GOLF: Won the Terre Haute Junior City championship.

Major: History

2003-04: Ranked fifth on the team with an average 80.0 strokes per round...played better during the spring season, posting a team-best 78.2 average in five tournaments...recorded an 18-hole season-best 73 at the Wisconsin-Parkside Invitational and a 36-hole season-best 159 (80-79) at the GLVC Tournament...led the team in two tournaments during the spring season. TRANSFER: Transferred to USI from Parkland College...helped Parkland to 14th place national finish in the NJCAA last year and to a pair of conference championships...was named the Collegiate Conference of Central Illinois Player of the Year as a sophomore...was named first team All-Conference both seasons at Parkland and first team All-Region as a freshman. HIGH SCHOOL: Lettered in golf and basketball at Findlay High School in Findlay, Illinois...was named Most Valuable Player three straight seasons in golf ...won the regional individual championship as a senior.

CORY BOLERJACK
Freshman...Carmi, Illinois
Major: Undecided

HIGH SCHOOL: Joins his brother, Adam, on the team after helping to lead Carmi-White County High School to the 2003 Regional Championship...was the 2003 CWHS MVP... also helped lead the Bulldogs to a third-place finish in the Black Diamond Conference and a fifth-place performance at sectionals...during his four seasons at CWHS, he helped CWHS to three conference championships and third and fourth-place finishes in the Illinois State Tournament.


MATT FONNER
Junior...Champaign, Illinois
Major: Communications

TRANSFER: Transfers to USI after playing for Parkland Junior College the past two seasons...was named to the 2004 All-Conference team and finished 31st as an individual at the NJCAA National Tournament. Prior to attending Parkland. HIGH SCHOOL: Four-time letterwinner in swimming and golf at Champaign Central High School.


NICK FRAZER
Freshman...Evansville, Indiana
Major: Accounting

HIGH SCHOOL: Three-year letterwinner in golf at Mater Dei High School (Evansville, Indiana)...named first team All-City and All-SIAC in 2004 and second team All-City and All-SIAC in 2003...was the 2004 Evansville High School City Medalist and Kiwanis Award winner for Mater Dei...Evansville Junior Golf Player of the Year and the low qualifier for the Evansville Courier-Press Men's City Tournament in 2004.
 


BLAKE HILLIARD
Freshman...Olney, Illinois
Major: Undecided

HIGH SCHOOL: Lettered in golf and basketball at East Richland High School...All-Conference four straight seasons...was the Apollo Conference medalist and placed second as an individual in the regional during 2003...led ERHS to the Apollo Conference golf championship and to the 2003-04 regional and sectional basketball championships.


BRANDON HOWARD
Freshman...Mt. Vernon, Indiana
Major: Undecided

HIGH SCHOOL: A three-time All-Big Eight Conference performer at Mt. Vernon High School...the first-ever three-time All-Conference player in the history of the Mt. Vernon golf program...led the MVHS squad to the 2003 sectional title...was the sectional medalist and a regional qualifier in 2002 and 2003...also was the Evansville Junior Golf City Champion and Player of the Year in 2003...his brother, Kyle, played basketball at USI...lettered in soccer, golf, and basketball at MVHS...was the Evansville Junior Golf City Champion and Player of the Year in 2003.


ERIC MORLOCK
Freshman...Mt. Vernon, Indiana
Major: Marketing

HIGH SCHOOL: Lettered in golf, tennis, and basketball at Mt. Vernon High School...was the team’s Most Valuable Player in 2003.
 


TED O'BRIEN
Freshman...Santa Claus, IN
Major: Mathematics

HIGH SCHOOL: Comes to USI from Heritage Hills High School where he lettered in golf, basketball, soccer, and cross country...his 14 letters in the four sports were the most ever earned by an HHHS student athlete...was a 2004 Wendy’s High School Heisman national nominee...earned an appearance in the Indiana State Finals and was the sectional champion with a record score of 69 during the spring...also earned a trip to the state finals in 2003 and was named All-Conference as a golfer during the 2001 and 2004 seasons...helped guide the Patriots to a golf sectional championship in 2004; a basketball sectional championship in 2003; and to a regional and three sectional cross country championships...also advanced to the 2003 semi-state and state finals in cross country. AMATEUR GOLF: The runner-up in the Mt. Dew Tour in 2003 with a scoring average of 72...also qualified for the Optimist International Golf Tournament in West Palm Beach, Florida, three times since 1999.
