Eagles place 13th at Greg Palmer Eagle Classic
The University of Southern Indiana menís golf team placed 13th out of 15 teams at the Greg Palmer Eagle Classic in Morehead, Kentucky. The Screaming Eagles shot a three-round 916 (+52) at the two-day tournament.
Sophomore Nathan Wolfe (Henderson, Kentucky) led the Eagles with a three-round 223 (+7). Wolf found himself in a tie for 15th and just eight shots off the lead heading into the final round this afternoon.
Junior Andy Skodinski (New Ross, Indiana) shot a USI-low 69 in the second round, but shot 76 (+4) and 85 (+13) in the first and third rounds, respectively, to finish tied for 61st with a three-round 230. Like Wolfe, Skodinski found himself in a tie for 15th heading into the final round.
USIís best round as a team was the second when the Eagles shot a 296 (+8). The Eaglesí results are listed below.
