USI men’s golf is sixth at Northern Kentucky Fall Invitational
The University of Southern Indiana men’s golf team took sixth at the Northern Kentucky Fall Invitational, shooting a two-day 632 (314-318) at Lassing Pointe in Union, Kentucky. Par was 71 on the 6724 yard course.
The Screaming Eagles were led by junior Zach Smith (Evansville, Indiana), who was 23rd had a two-round 157 (77-80). Junior Nathan Wolfe (Henderson, Kentucky) followed Smith by a stroke with a 158 (78-80).
The next action for the Screaming Eagles will be in the NCAA II Great Lakes Fall Tournament at the Black Berry Patch Golf Course in Coldwater, Michigan. USI will host its only tournament of the fall on Monday and Tuesday, September 30-October 1, at Helfrich Hills Golf Course in Evansville, Indiana.
