USIs Overby finishes fifth at Bellarmine Invitational,
Smith places eighth
University of Southern Indiana mens golf juniors Ryan Overby (Providence, Kentucky) and Zach Smith (Evansville, Indiana) finished in a tie for fifth and eighth, respectively, in the Bellarmine University Invitational at the Persimmon Ridge Golf Course in Louisville, Kentucky Monday and Tuesday. Overby shot a two-day total of 159 while Smith followed with a two-day 162.
As a team, the Screaming Eagles finished the two-day tournament in fourth place with a score of 657 (326-331). USI will return to action this Saturday and Sunday, April 5-6. The Eagles will compete in the University of Findlay Oiler Invitational at the Sycamore Springs Golf Course in Arlington, Ohio.
