Heintz signs with USI men’s golf
The University of Southern Indiana men’s golf team announced the signing of Brian Heintz to a national letter of intent for the 2003-04 season. Heintz is the second player to join USI and new head coach Matt Scheessele this spring.
Heintz is a native of Vincennes, Indiana, and a graduate of Lincoln High School where he was a four-year letterwinner in men’s golf. He also helped lead LHS to two sectional championships, a regional championship, and the state finals during his four years.
In junor golf, Heintz recorded a second and a fifth place showing in the Mountain Dew Tournament and a 10th place finish in the Knox County Open.
“Brian has proven ability at both the state and local levels,” said Scheessele. “With hard work and dedication, Brian will very successful at USI.”
