Eagles are ninth after shooting a first round 314
The University of Southern Indiana men's golf team is ninth after shooting the first round 314 at the Great Lakes Fall Regional at the Blackberry Patch Golf Course in Coldwater, Michigan. The regional, which is hosted by Hillsdale
College, will conclude Monday.
Although the Screaming Eagles are ninth out of 21 teams, the squad is just three strokes behind Grand Valley State University and fourth place.
Leading the way for the Eagles is sophomore Christian Farley (Henderson, Kentucky), who is tied for 19th with a 77. Farley is followed by three Ealges – senior Nathan Wolfe (Henderson, Kentucky), senior Ryan Overby (Providence, Kentucky), and senior Tim Garner (Martinsville, Indiana) – tied for 36th with a 79.
